To anyone who wants a challenging walk this is a great walk to pick. We are a group of the madder people in the world who completed this in a day. We set off on Friday - 17th July 2015 at 18:00hrs, touching the door of the north entrance of the magnificent Beverley Minster and setting off in perfect weather, (although the site of people sat outside in the sunshine drinking a nice cool glass of vino was making us think what are we doing?). We finished at York Minster 20hrs later and we have never been so pleased to see any building in our lives. I would like to thank you Ray for putting together a great walk and opening up new areas of this beautiful part of the world to us to explore in the future. We both live in the wolds and love exploring all it has to offer. Many regards Stuart & Sally

Hi, I walked The Minster Way the beginning of this week 21/04 and 22/04. My overnight stay was just about half way along at Millington Village Hall. Both days were very warm, the walking was a pleasure. I just wanted to thank Ray for the excellent guide book, the route description and maps were great. There were lots of highlights, lunch by the duck pond in North Dalton, the church at Great Givendale and Bishop Wilton were all lovely. However seeing the wolds again - i did The Yorkshire Wolds Way last year - was fantastic they are just amazing. I would recommend everyone see them once in their lifetime and just walk them.

Just completed the Minster Way in 4 days on Thursday 18th Jan, in some very interesting weather - more than a few blizzards on the way. Thoroughly enjoyable route with some outstanding scenery. Thank You! Looking at the Wolds Way as the next project!

I'm looking for the memory map waymarks for The Minster Way if anyone can send me them. Many thanks.
